A Life in the Woods
A friend of mine has a birthday coming up, and I happened to discover these beautiful copies of Henry David Thoreau's Walden and A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers. He's an adventurous sort, so I think he'll appreciate the gesture.
To go along with the traveling theme, I added a boat...thing.
I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do with it, but I like weird knick knacks and it would be an interesting coffee table piece.

Goodwill Haul x2
I suppose I can't really call this a "haul", since I'm only showcasing two items and "haul" seems to denote a mass of products.
But you get what I mean, right?
As an editor part-time and a job seeker full-time, I rarely have moments to spare for luxury reading. Unfortunate but true. ALTHOUGH, I do spend a decent amount of time book-browsing in Goodwill. You never know what treasures people willingly drop off for you to snap up. Case in point:

The A.B.C. Murders and Feminist Fairy Tales - I feel like I'm back in college!
Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze a bit of time here and there to enjoy these. With a cup of tea. On a rainy day. Glorious, yeah?
